Mrs. Gould's sunbird

Mrs. Gould's sunbird is a sunbird bird species native to forests and shrublands from the southern foothills of the Himalayas to Southeast Asia. Because of its large range, it has been listed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List since 2004.
Nicholas Vigors first described the species in 1831, honoring bird artist Elizabeth Gould with both its common and scientific name.
